November 2004, John and Bobbi Sullivan were invited to return to Kenya. John was asked to teach the assembled leaders of International Christian Ministries, representing the staff from the USA and leaders from 10 African countries, the principles of Servant First leadership at their annual International Council. He taught over four days to a dedicated group of Christian leaders who are changing the face of Africa through continuing seminary education and the Church Leadership Institute. CLI serves as the umbrella ministry for seminars and courses from several ministries including: World Teach (Walk Through the Bible, Purpose Driven Ministries, and Equip Ministries (Maxwell leadership training).

Following the International Council, the Sullivan's traveled to Mombassa on the Kenyan coast to teach for two full days to about 400 pastors and bishops on the principles of Christian leadership.
