Thanksgiving 2006 was spent in Kitale, Kenya, dining on an evening meal of ugali (a solid, maize-based type of grits), sakumawiki (greens), and cabbage--and we were thankful for it!  This year's trip to East Africa began with teaching the class, "A Return to Servant Leadership," at the International Christian Ministries Seminary, in Kitale, northwest Kenya.  Upon completing the instructional part of the course, assigning the take-home project, and grading the final exams, we returned to Nairobi.  After a short time of relaxation at the Maasai National Park, we headed for Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.  There we were hosted by the ICM Country Directors for Tanzania, James and Mary Kamau.  We conducted a mini-seminar at the Pentecostal Assemblies of God Church in Dar and preached at St. Columba's Presbyterian Church of East Africa.  We were enthusiastically invited back to Dar to conduct a much larger seminar for business and church leaders sometime in 2007.
